My team was challenged with the task to reimagine and redesign the College and University Department Admin experience.
Utilizing the User Centered Design process, I researched the pre-existing online platforms, interviewed users of these platforms, developed prototypes for user testing and created and designed a front-end/back-end online Admin platform for secretaries and admins.

Originally, the CCNR department contacted me to uplift their UI but a discovery period revealed they would be best served with a CMS in addition to the new UI, the work began. It seemed the admin group was not prepared nor had the time to update the content daily or weekly and it took more than 50 hours monthly. When the CMS was installed the time to update content was under an hour weekly. And training classes in HTML were not required. A cost savings in time and effort.
Content was stored in a MySQL database. The application is LAMP based.
