Overview
SAM.gov (System for Award Management) is the official U.S. government system used by entities to register to do business with the federal government.
It serves as a centralized platform for several key federal functions:
- Contracting: Researching and engaging in federal contract opportunities.
- Entity Management: Registering entities, getting a Unique Entity ID, and reporting on federal awards.
- Federal Assistance: Learning about and searching for federal grants and assistance programs.
